Inge Steensland is a TPG Associate Consultant. He enjoys coaching of managers and executives as well as running performance improvement processes for teams at all levels.
Inge worked in TPG from 1995, but left in 1999 and later established his own consultancy firm called
ICG - Intellectual Capital Group - where he works full time as well as being a major shareholder and chairman of the board. ICG is a network company, forming relationships with other specialist groups and consultancies on a project basis. TPG is Inge’s preferred partner, socially as well as business wise.
Inge is also active member of a start-up group of coaches, aiming to offer coaching services to Norwegian companies and public institutions.
Inge has a Master of Science degree (cand. real) in physics and computer science from the University of Oslo, one year of Fulbright Scholarship studies in USA and a diploma from one year of Management training and development at North European Management Institute, Oslo. In 2002, he completed his training as coach with the Coaching Training Institute (CTI).
He worked 15 years in IBM with sales and marketing management both in Norway and in the UK, interrupted by 3 years as management consultant in World Health Organisation, Geneva. After 3 years in a start-up IT-company, he was recruited to Aftenposten as Director of Organisation and IT before joining TPG in 1995.
Inge is married with two sons. He likes cycling and skiing as well as fishing and swimming. He lives in Bærum outside of Oslo.
