Susan McDonald Bekkmo has lived, worked and studied in 10 countries over the past 15 years and has held consulting and human resources management positions with multinationals and independent companies in Europe, Latin American and North America. Her main professional areas of interest include competence and performance management, leadership development, and cultural diversity issues. She is now an assosiate at TPG.

Susan holds a Master of Business Administration and Business Informatics from the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus Graduate School of Business in the Netherlands and is currently President of the school’s Alumni Board and a member of the RSM International Charity Board. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from DavidsonCollege in North Carolina, USA.  She is an active member of a number of organizations in Oslo and currently serves on the Executive Board of the American Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to her native English, Susan is fluent in Spanish and Norwegian and has basic skills in French. Originally from Atlanta, GA, USA, Susan now lives in Oslo. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two kids and taking advantage of the many opportunities for outdoor activity in Norway.
